Saint Joseph Parenting Center gets $25,000 grant from Fairfield County’s Community Foundation

Saint Joseph Parenting Center is proud to announce that we were awarded a $25,000 grant from Fairfield County’s Community Foundations through the Fund for Women and Girls.

Fairfield County’s Community Foundation promotes philanthropy as a means to create change in Fairfield County, focusing on innovative and collaborative solutions to critical issues impacting the community. Individuals, families, corporations, and organizations can establish charitable funds or contribute to existing funds. The Community Foundation is in compliance with the Council on Foundations’ national standards and has awarded over $230 million in grants to nonprofits in Fairfield County and beyond. As a trusted nonprofit partner and through leader, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation brings together community organizers, business experts and philanthropists to solve our region’s challenges.

Since 2010, SJPC has worked with over 1,500 families, providing critical support services to families seeking parenting education and case management. FCCF has supported SJPC with more than $50,000 worth of grants. These funds have directly contributed to our organization’s ability to offer critical services to families in our communities. This grant allows us to focus on our female clients, expanding on current programming to offer employee readiness training and beyond. FCCF’s commitment to our organization, and other Fairfield County organizations, has made a huge difference in our communities and we are proud to partner with them.
