Thoughts from SJPC Executive Director, Rhonda Neal, during Child Abuse Prevention Month

Dear SJPC Friends and Supporters,

What affects one of us affects all of us.

Throughout April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we are acutely reminded of this truth—and of our obligation to help where we can. Child abuse and neglect are preventable, and all communities benefit when children and families are empowered through the types of parenting education and support programs offered by Saint Joseph Parenting Centers (SJPC).

When we invest in children, we invest in our communities. Children who are not abused or neglected are more likely to achieve higher levels of education and grow up to become contributing, positive members of their own families and communities.

It is by helping parents we can do our best by their children and we hope, in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, you will continue to support the efforts of SJPC to create a world free of child abuse and neglect.

Sincerely,

Rhonda R. Neal

Executive Director
